Scaling Merlin Entertainments' London data team with contract BI talent

Merlin Entertainments is an international, FTSE 100 company best known for its theme parks Alton Towers and LEGOLAND, as well as Madame Tussauds. The group has almost 26,000 employees at attractions all over the world, attracting over 40 million guests each year.

Having worked with Merlin previously to hire three Business Intelligence and SQL Developers, the team at Merlin tasked Consortia with sourcing an additional contract Data Migration Developer to work on a project with their London team.

As this was a new project team Consortia hadn't worked with before, the team felt it important to meet the client to better understand their needs for the project.

Consortia then drew on its niche talent pool of BI specialists to supply candidates who genuinely matched those needs.

The client was impressed with the standard of talent provided, which resulted in a further two contract placements to the team.
